Cat’s claw is a bark based herb common to Chinese medicine which is believed to relieve inflamation and potentially lower blood pressure. It has also been shown to relieve pain by action on serotonin receptors.
Although it is well tolerated by most people, it is not advised for pregnant women, those breastfeeding or people with immune conditions to take this herb.
The most common use of cat’s claw is simply to make it as a tea.
Use about two grams and soak in boiled water for ten minutes.
We find that cat’s claw has a very soothing sensation and is mildly calming, making it useful before bed, or in times when we need to calm our thoughts.
Each order comes with 25g of shredded cat’s claw.
